Let’s talk about me
Hello, my name is Axel and as you can guess, I am passionate about video games.
Since I was very young, I play games and I dream to create them. I was lucky enough to be able to make it my life project, and that’s why I studied Game Design. I always wanted to make games that allow the player to feel something and to live an experience that allows him to escape from reality for a few moments.
Apart from all that, I love sports and music, I myself have done more than eight years of Football (Soccer) and six years of American Football as well as about fifteen years of piano. I’m also a fan and a player of Wargaming an TCG.
I am currently looking for a job in Game Design after 3 years of Devtest at Ubisoft Paris then Ubisoft Annecy on two different projects including Ghost Recon Breakpoint
What I am looking for
I want to discover many things in the video game industry, starting with the multiple facets of game design. I would like to work and learn throughout my career new things in terms of design but also management.
I had the chance to discuss, work and train with people whose job it is.
Training
To begin with, I graduated from high school with a Bac S in Engineering Science with a major in Computer Science and Engineering Science.
I then followed the CITISE integrated preparatory class in the Télécom Saint-Etienne engineering school. In two years in this school, I obtained a DUT GEII as well as a validation of the second year license of physics in parallel of the preparatory class.
In 2019, I finished my Game Designer training at Bellecour École, where I obtained a Bachelor in Game Design.
Even though it’s not a full-fledged education, I learned a lot about the industry and the different video game professions during my years at Ubisoft and I think I will continue to learn a lot throughout my career.
Everyone I interacted with taught me new things and I hope I could do the same with them, whether it was my colleagues experimenting, or the juniors I trained
